
Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9 1956) is an American actor and film director. He is famous for his dramatic and comedic roles and is considered an American iconic cultural figure. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born in Concord, California, to Janet Marylyn a hospital worker as well as Amos Mefford Hanks, an chef who traveled the world.
