Andrea Joy Cook, popularly called A.J. Cook is an internationally acclaimed Canadian actor. Her most well-known character is Jennifer Jareau, a supervisory special agent in CBS's police drama Criminal Minds. The show was on air since 2005 and, as of 2017, it's in its thirteenth season. Born in Oshawa Ontario, Canada Cook has a love of acting right from the beginning. On the TV show Goosebumps, she had one small part to begin her career. She debuted in film by starring in the 1999 drama The Virgin Suicides. But, the film wasn't very well-received. After that she began playing on the American Canadian drama series Higher Ground with whom she portrayed one of the lead characters.
