
Colson Baker(born April 22 on the 22nd of April, 1990) popularly referred to as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), is an American artist, rapper, songwriter, and actor. He is known for his blending of genres, combining hip hop.Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes during 2007 and 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. The album he released was his first studio album, Lace Up in 2012, and peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 and contained the single that made him famous "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). His second and third albums, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017) had similar commercial success. The second album featured the single "Bad Things" (with Camila Cabello) which reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album he released in his fourth, Hotel Diablo, was the first album of rap rock. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall (2020), was released. It marked a departure from hip-hop and a transition into pop punk. The track "My Ex's Best Friend" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. It was the first rock album to reach that position. Mainstream Sellout, the album's sequel (1922) was commercially successful. Machine Gun Kelly has also been in the thriller based on a techno theme Nerve (2016) and the terrifying Bird Box (2018).
